chaoticpendulums.com was established during the year 2000 by an electrical engineering student with a special interest in physics. The story goes something like this...

Outside one of the physics lecture halls was a chaotic double pendulum. It was a popular mechanism which promoted much discussion and debate. It was a favourite lecture for this particular student because he was fascinated watching and experimenting with the double pendulum.

However, the student had a problem! His father - also an electrical engineer who either a) had everything he wanted already, or b) thought most gifts were junk - was celebrating his birthday. The student decided that his father would like to have his own chaotic pendulum and the gift was a tremendous success. In fact, it became a popular item which was wanted by many of his father’s friends and acquaintances.

Since this time, chaoticpendulums.com has transformed into a small but serious sideline hobby of this former student with a focus on the stylish design, manufacture & prompt delivery of chaotic pendulums made from the highest quality materials that are finished to perfection.
